Privacy Policy
This is plain-language, not legal advice. It reflects the current build: a static site self-hosted on the r9 homelab, with optional Google Analytics and no forms.
This is the personal site of Mario Seijo, founder of Minimo Studio. It's a digital business card, and I keep data collection to the absolute minimum. Here's exactly what happens.
The short version
- No accounts, sign-ups, contact forms, or advertising.
- Google Analytics stays off unless you choose “Accept analytics.”
- The data involved is (1) standard server logs, (2) your saved analytics preference, and (3) analytics data if you consent.
- Any link out (LinkedIn, Instagram, booking a call) takes you to a third party with its own policy.
What's collected
Server logs. Like nearly every website, the server that hosts this site automatically records basic technical requests — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and date/time. This is used only to operate and secure the site (diagnosing errors, preventing abuse). Logs are kept briefly and are not used to build a profile of you.
Your analytics choice. The site stores your choice on your device so it remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics. You can change that choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Google Analytics (only with consent). If you accept, Google Analytics 4 loads and uses cookies and similar technologies to help me understand visits and interactions in aggregate. This can include pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser information, and actions such as saving my contact, flipping the card, or following one of the contact/social links. I have disabled Google Signals and advertising-personalization features in the site configuration. Google acts as an analytics provider and may process data on servers outside your country. Saving my contact. If you download my contact card (vCard) or scan the QR code, that happens on your own device — it doesn't send any information about you back to me.
What's NOT collected
- No analytics cookies unless you accept them.
- No advertising or social-media tracking pixels.
- No information submitted through this site — I never ask for your name, email, or anything else.
Links to other sites
This site links out to LinkedIn, Instagram, and a booking page (minimostudio.io). Once you follow those links you're on their platforms, governed by their privacy policies — not this one.
Your choices and rights
You can decline analytics when first asked or change your choice later through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Declining does not affect the site. You can also clear this site's cookies and local storage in your browser. If you're covered by privacy laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or California's CCPA and you have a question or request, email me and I'll help.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect any information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update the date above.
